Dr Jonathan Espie

Principal Clinical Psychologist

In my 25 years working in NHS mental health services, I have seen firsthand how challenging and debilitating living with OCD can be. As a therapist, I have had the privilege of learning from many young people, adults, and parents about the importance of developing a shared understanding of these difficult experiences. I am passionate about providing high-quality treatment which is collaborative and delivered with compassion and care, and I find the positive impact of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for OCD can have to be truly rewarding. I specialise in applying evidence-based CBT for children, adults, and their families, integrating systemic principles, particularly for OCD. I am an accredited psychotherapist and supervisor with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
